Kaylin Thibodeaux, COTA
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Kaylin Thibodeaux is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who has been practicing since October 2024. Born and raised in Highlands, Texas, she graduated from Goose Creek Memorial High School before attending Texas A&M University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health with a minor in Psychology in 2022. She later completed the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Lone Star College, earning her Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy in 2024.
During her training, Kaylin completed fieldwork in both a pediatric outpatient clinic and a skilled nursing facility, gaining experience working with individuals across the lifespan. She is licensed and certified through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and has experience supporting clients with emotional regulation challenges, developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavioral disorders, and ADHD/ADD. Kaylin is passionate about providing individualized, meaningful care that helps each client reach their fullest potential.
After completing her education, Kaylin returned to Beyond Words to begin her professional career. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Austin, and their fur babies. They currently call Highlands home.
