Ava Lightfoot, Administrative Assistant
Ava Lightfoot is a therapy technician and administrative assistant with a strong interest in pediatric communication and developmental support. She is currently completing her bachelor's degree in speech and hearing sciences at Lamar University and will graduate in May of 2026. Ava will continue her education by beginning graduate school in the fall of 2026 to pursue her master's in speech-language pathology at Lamar University.
In her role, Ava supports clinicians by preparing therapy materials, assisting with session setup, and helping maintain an organized and efficient clinical environment.
She also works with families, ensuring smooth communication and contributing to a positive, welcoming experience for every client who walks through the door. Her hands-on exposure to pediatric therapy has strengthened her passion for early communication development and reinforced her desire to grow within the field.
Ava was born and raised in Southeast Texas and continues to reside there as she prepares for graduate school and the next steps in her professional journey. Her passion for working with children grows stronger with every client she meets, and she values the opportunity to learn something new each day in the clinic. This ongoing growth fuels her commitment to becoming a skilled and compassionate speech-language pathologist.
